Chuck Close famously said, “Inspiration is for Amateurs, I just get up and Work.” As pretentious as that sounds, there is a bit more than a kernel of truth to that quote. No one can deny that he is a world famous artist with a huge ouevre of work. That takes work and dedication, but it also takes a bit of circumstance, a slice of priviledge, a shake of luck and a smile from the quantum computer.

I am what I am. I’m an artist, and it is my dream to make that my professional life, beyond my side gig, beyond my hobby, beyond my dreams. I am also a Mama, and a Wife, and a Public Relations Spokesperson, and an Event Coordinator, and many other Hats. I get up and do all that, and by the thousands of hours of production you can see in the galleries on this website, I create on the go, when I can. Sure, inspiration is for amateurs but only the grateful appreciate that they can get up and just work.
